The Alabama Hills Area |
This area, near Lone Pine, CA is one of the most incredible
landscapes I've ever seen. It was the site of innumerable western
movies but also stood in for exotic locations in such films as Gunga Din,
The Khyber Rifles, Lives of the Bengal Lancers and even as other planets in
Sci-Fi films and TV series.
In August 15-17, 2005 between semesters I went there with a colleague, Jack Yonn. Here are some of the images I took on that trip. |
